If I'm a musician, what instrument do I play? The answer is: electricity. The electricity can be in a digital audio workstation or an analog circuit board, with feedback, static, samples, synthesizers, or field recordings as source material. Sometimes this is done live, and sometimes with careful programming. And always it's warped with modulators and effects.
